Bihar’s famous folk singer Sharda Sinha has said goodbye to this world. He died during treatment in AIIMS Hospital, Delhi. Sharda Sinha was admitted in AIIMS for many days. However, as the days passed, his health was deteriorating. Son Anshuman is heartbroken over his mother’s death. In a tweet from Sharda Sinha’s X account, he said that Chhathi Maiya had called the mother to herself.
Anshuman Sinha, while sharing a picture of his mother from his X account, wrote, “Your prayers and love will always be with mother. Chhathi Maiya has called mother to herself. Mother is no longer physically among us.”

Rumors were flying about health
On Tuesday, Anshuman Sinha had come live on mother Sharda Sinha’s Facebook account and termed all the news of her death as false. He had appealed to the people to pray for the mother. Actually, rumors related to Sharda Sinha started floating on social media since yesterday. However Anshuman said that the mother is alive. But by evening the rumors proved true and at the age of 72, he said goodbye to this world forever.
Sharda Sinha was on ventilator
Sharga Sinha’s condition was critical for some days. She was unconscious. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also spoke to Anshuman Sinha and inquired about the health of his mother Sharda Sinha. Today his condition had worsened and due to kidney problem he was also put on dialysis. It was told that five doctors of AIIMS were keeping an eye on his health. However, all the prayers remained unfulfilled and Sharda Sinha left the world of folk singing forever.
