The person taking the photo was none other than one of the staff present in the operation theatre. This incident is said to have happened on 26th April. The girl was admitted to the hospital due to a gynecological problem. He had to undergo surgery for ‘Bartholin’s cyst’. When the girl was unconscious during the operation, someone present in the operation theater clicked her photographs with his mobile. Later these pictures went viral on the internet and somehow reached the girl’s family. The girl’s face and private parts were clearly visible in the viral pictures.
The family demanded strict action
The family is extremely angry at this tampering with their daughter’s honor and privacy. He has lodged a complaint with the hospital management and police. The family alleges that such an incident happening in a safe place like an operation theater shows serious negligence on the part of the hospital staff. After the matter came to light, the district administration and medical college management have ordered an investigation.
