A neighbor raped a 7 year old girl in Barmer. The accused lured the girl on the pretext of showing her the house and committed the crime at a deserted place. Police have arrested the accused Magh Singh and investigation into the case is going on.
Barmer: A heart-wrenching incident came to light in Barmer city of Rajasthan on Sunday evening. Here a neighbor allegedly raped a 7-year-old girl by luring her on the pretext of showing her the house. According to the police, the incident took place in an area of Barmer city on Sunday evening. As soon as the information was received, the police took immediate action. The police team inspected the spot and took the accused into custody.
The girl was playing outside her house. Then the accused youth came there and took the name of an unknown person and asked to show his house. He took the girl with him and then took her to an isolated place and raped her in the bushes.
Anger in the family, accused arrested
The girl reached home crying in pain and narrated her ordeal to her family members. The family members immediately took him to the hospital. On receiving information about the incident, the police also reached the spot and recorded the statement of the family. A team inspected the crime scene and also visited the girl’s house.
Police have identified the accused as Magh Singh, son of Tej Singh and have taken him into custody. There is a lot of anger among the family members and local people after this incident. He expressed his anger against the accused. The police have got the girl’s medical examination done. The accused is still in custody and investigation into the case is ongoing.
