Suriya and Bobby Deol starrer ‘Kanguwa’ has fallen apart in the first week of its release. The makers had expected to earn Rs 700-800 crore through the film but ‘Kanguwa’ is not able to earn even its Rs 350 crore budget in India. While Surya’s work is being praised, the audience seems quite disappointed after seeing Bobby Deol’s work. Although Bobby’s looks and his acting were number one, but his character’s connection with the story and his dialogues were not particularly liked by the people. After ‘Animal’, everyone is casting Bobby Deol as a villain, but he will have to correct some of his mistakes in his next two projects.
After earning more than Rs 900 crore of ‘Animal’, now the makers are offering only villain roles to Bobby Deol. Actually, Bobby Deol is leaving no stone unturned. But his ‘animal’ charm is not visible in ‘Kanguva’. The biggest mistake that is considered to be Bobby’s in ‘Kanguva’ is his dialogues, which seem to be completely translated from Tamil to Hindi. His dialogue delivery is also considered very bad. Apart from this, the makers should have worked more on Bobby’s screen presence and his role than on his dangerous looks.
Bobby Deol will have to work hard for these two films
- ashram season 4 Ever since Bobby Deol started working in the ‘Aashram’ series, people have become fans of his acting. Even before ‘Animal’, Bobby’s villainy was being discussed in full swing on OTT. The amazing feat that Bobby has been showing in ‘Ashram’ by becoming Baba Nirala. He will have to go to his old zone for ‘Ashram 4’ also. Baba Nirala who carries out all his wrong deeds with peace. He should not need to be too ferocious with his character.
- Alpha Bobby Deol also has ‘Alpha’ of YRF spy universe in his hands. Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh are also in lead roles in this film. But like ‘Kanguwa’, Bobby has been made the villain in this film. Expectations from Bobby are very high, but for this film too, Bobby needs to remember that making the character look dangerous should not be his only objective. Rather, something new and fresh should be brought to breathe life into the character of the villain.
