According to sources, most of the exiled people are aged between 18 and 30 years. The families of some deports arrived at the airport to take them.

Official sources said that a third aircraft is expected to reach India today, on February 16, with 157 exiled. On February 5, an American military aircraft landed at Amritsar Airport with 104 illegal Indian migrants. Of these, 33-33 were from Haryana and Gujarat, while 30 were from Punjab.

The families of the deported people said that they raised money by mortgaging agricultural land and cattle so that they could be sent abroad for a bright future. The family of Daljit Singh, a resident of Kurala Kalan village in Tanda area of ​​Hoshiarpur district, said that a travel agent has cheated him. Daljit’s wife Kamalpreet Kaur alleged that her husband was cheated by a travel agent, who had promised him a direct flight to the US, but instead took him illegally.
