An aircraft with 116 illegal migrants from America landed at Amritsar International Airport late on Saturday night. As part of the promise of action on illegal migrants, the US President Donald Trump’s administration is the second batch of deported Indians. He said that instead of the expected time of 10 pm, the aircraft landed at the airport at around 11:30 pm.
It was not immediately clear whether there were shackles in the body of the exiled people. After the first batch of illegal migrants was sent back on February 5, most of the exiles of Punjab had said that they want to go to America for a better life for their families.
However, his dreams broke when he was caught on the American border and was sent back to fetters. He said that earlier there were reports that 119 migrants would be in the aircraft, but now according to the list of passengers, the number of deported people in the second batch is 116.
According to sources, 65 people are included from Punjab, 33 from Haryana, eight from Gujarat, two each from Uttar Pradesh, Goa, Maharashtra and Rajasthan and one each from Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir. According to sources, most of the exiled people are aged between 18 and 30 years. The families of some deports arrived at the airport to take them.
Official sources said that a third aircraft is expected to reach India today, on February 16, with 157 exiled. On February 5, an American military aircraft landed at Amritsar Airport with 104 illegal Indian migrants. Of these, 33-33 were from Haryana and Gujarat, while 30 were from Punjab.
The families of the deported people said that they raised money by mortgaging agricultural land and cattle so that they could be sent abroad for a bright future. The family of Daljit Singh, a resident of Kurala Kalan village in Tanda area of Hoshiarpur district, said that a travel agent has cheated him. Daljit’s wife Kamalpreet Kaur alleged that her husband was cheated by a travel agent, who had promised him a direct flight to the US, but instead took him illegally.
