IPL 2025 Points Table: The fifth double header match of the 18th season of the Indian Premier League was played on Saturday. In the afternoon, there was a clash between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans, in which the team led by Rishabh Pant won. At the same time, in the match played in the evening, Hyderabad, Hyderabad, crushed Punjab and reinforced its defeat. On Saturday afternoon, the 26th match of IPL 2025 was played between Lucknow Super Giants and Gujarat Titans (LSG Vs GT) at Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium. The Gujarat team came out to bat after losing the toss and set a target of 181 runs in 20 overs. During this, Sai Sudarshan scored 56 runs and Captain Shubman Gill scored 60 runs. Punjab lost defeat

Sunrisers Hyderabad faced Punjab Kings (SRH vs PBKS) at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium. To bat first after winning the toss, I PBKS set a target of 246 runs losing six wickets in 20 overs. Team could achieve this score thanks to captain Shreyas Iyer’s stormy innings of 82 runs. In response, Hyderabad put Abhishek Sharma’s Atishi on the scoreboard in 18.3 on the basis of a century innings. With this, the team won their first match by eight wickets after four consecutive defeats.

These teams suffer losses

If the IPL 2025 points table is seen after the double header match, Sunrisers Hyderabad has benefited strongly after winning. Pat Cummins’ team has come from tenth to eighth place. However, due to this, Mumbai Indians had to come at the ninth and Chennai Super Kings had to come at the tenth position.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings have slipped down one place from their previous places due to the victory of Lucknow Super Giants. These teams currently occupy fourth, fifth and sixth respectively. While LSG reached the third position. The Gujarat Titans, which lost the LSG Vs GT match, has come to the second place, which benefited Delhi Capitals and captured the top-1.
