Home Minister Amit Shah flagged off the ‘Ekta Run’ organized in Delhi on the occasion of National Unity Day. During this, Union Ministers Mansukh Mandaviya, Manohar Lal Khattar, Nityanand Rai and Delhi LG VK Saxena were also present with him. Along with him, BJP MP from Delhi Bansuri Swaraj also reached the program. During this, Home Minister Amit Shah said that Diwali is on 31st October, hence the Ekta Run is being organized on the occasion of Dhanteras on 29th October instead of 31st October.
More than 8 thousand people came to participate in the ‘Ekta Run Programme’. Congratulating him, Home Minister Amit Shah said that on October 31, 2015, PM Modi decided to organize the Unity Run in the memory of the great Sardar Patel to maintain the integrity, unity and determination of the country and since then till today. The entire nation not only resolves for the unity of the country through ‘Ekta Run’, but also dedicates itself to the service of Mother India. ‘Ekta Run’ was not just a pledge for the unity of India. Now ‘Unity Race’ has also become a pledge of unity of developed India. Because in front of us is PM Modi in 2047 when it will be the centenary of India’s independence. By that time, the resolution of a fully developed nation has been placed before the citizens of this country.
