Officials said that Sanchita was found hanging from the fan in her bedroom with the help of her saree. The room was locked from inside. The family members immediately took him to Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation hospital, where doctors declared him dead after examination.
Vinod Bagh, API of Achole police station, told the media, “The incident took place on June 14 between 7 pm and 7.30 pm. Sanchita committed suicide by locking the door from inside and hanging her saree from the fan in the bedroom. She was taken to Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation Hospital, where doctors declared her brought dead. On June 15, based on the complaint of the deceased’s father Machindra Ugale, Achole police registered an FIR under the Indian Civil Protection Code. “An Accidental Death Report (ADR) has been registered under section 194 of the Indian Penal Code (BNSS).”

Police said that they are investigating the case and trying to find out the reason behind the suicide.
