Jodhpur (Rajasthan) [भारत]July 7 (ANI): Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Tuesday said that Sanatan culture is India’s biggest strength. He said that despite changing times, India’s civilizational values guide humanity and remain relevant in promoting peace, harmony and moral life.
Birla made this comment while addressing the gathering at ‘Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav’ and Shri Ram Katha at Shri Ardhanarishwar Temple located in Shri Raghuvanshpuram Ashram, Jodhpur. Birla said that Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav is an inspiring celebration of India’s spiritual traditions, saint culture and commitment to public welfare.
Opportunity to strengthen faith and values
He said that the consecration of Lord Ardhanarishwar is not just a religious ceremony but a sacred occasion which strengthens faith, reinforces values and awakens spiritual consciousness. He said that such events reconnect the society to its roots and inspire collective participation in nation building.

Referring to the importance of Lord Ardhanarishwar, Birla said that this divine form symbolizes the harmonious balance of Shiva and Shakti, Purusha and Prakriti. He said that Lord Shiva’s commitment to universal welfare and Goddess Parvati’s ideals of compassion inspire the society to live a balanced, harmonious and compassionate life. He said that this balance teaches us to respect both nature and humanity and guides us towards sustainable and inclusive development.
Ideals of Lord Shri Ram
Throwing light on the ideals of Lord Shri Ram, Birla said that Lord Ram represents the highest ideals of dharma, duty and public welfare. He said that Shri Ram Katha inspires people to imbibe these ideals and fulfill their responsibilities towards the society and nation. He emphasized that by following the path of Maryada Purushottam Ram, citizens can contribute to building a strong, value-based and self-reliant India.
Birla underlined that Shri Raghuvanshpuram Ashram, Keshav Priya Gaushala, Temple and Shri Ram Katha are important centers of Indian culture which are continuously strengthening the values of service, ethical conduct, cow protection and humanity. He said that the true message of Pran Pratistha is not just to enshrine the deity in the temple but also to inculcate truth, service, compassion and values in one’s life.
