These daughters, who come from ordinary families, have studied in ordinary schools and have studied from ITIs, are doing extraordinary work today.”

The Prime Minister further stressed, “There was a time when parents would hesitate in saying that their children have studied in ITI. But that time has now passed. These young girls may have studied in ITI, but their aspirations are extraordinary. Many of them come from families where no one had ever even applied for or even seen a passport. Leave alone traveling abroad, many had never even been to Delhi or Mumbai. But today, these same daughters are pursuing advanced training. She has gone to Malaysia for research, has mastered cutting-edge semiconductor technology, and is now playing a key role in manufacturing ‘Made in India’ semiconductor chips.”
