In Junavai police station area of Sambhal district of Uttar Pradesh, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was allegedly injected by three unidentified people who died on Monday afternoon, killing him. Gunnore’s police officer (CO) Deepak Tiwari said that Gulfam Singh Yadav (60) was sitting in his house in Dafta village of Junabai police station area, when three unidentified people came by bike and ran away with injections.
According to CO Deepak Tiwari, Yadav was being taken to Aligarh for treatment when the condition deteriorated, but he died on the way. According to Tiwari, no tahrir has been received by Yadav’s family yet, but a police team has been deployed to investigate the matter. Yadav contested the Uttar Pradesh Assembly by -election on a BJP ticket.
Broke on the way
According to the information received from the police, Gulfam Singh’s family took him to a government hospital in Juanavai in fear of being shot, but he was referred by the doctor. He died on the way to Aligarh for treatment. Police said that when Gulfam was sleeping at home, this incident happened.
Was active in politics for three decades
Gulfam Singh Yadav was active in politics for the last three decades. In the 2004 by -election for the Gunnore Assembly, he contested on a BJP ticket in front of former Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav. According to the information, BJP state executive member, Regional Vice President Western Uttar Pradesh, RSS’s District Karyavas, BJP also held the post of General Secretary of BJP. Apart from this, his wife Javitri Devi is the head of the village for three consecutive times. Divya Prakash Yadav, son of Gulfam Singh Yadav, was elected block chief in the by -election for Juanavai Block Chief in 2019.
