Nandini Reddy’s Samantha Ruth Prabhu-starrer Maa Inti Bangaaram, which hit theatres on Friday, had a strong opening weekend and emerged as Samantha’s highest-grossing solo film.

As expected, the film witnessed a drop on its first Monday, but it still managed to hold reasonably well at the box office.

On Day 4, Maa Inti Bangaaram collected Rs 4.10 crore net in India across 2,768 shows. This marks a 59.4 per cent drop from its Sunday collection of Rs 10.10 crore.

With this, the film’s total India net collection now stands at Rs 27.20 crore. Its total India gross has reached Rs 31.44 crore so far.

The film also continued to add to its overseas tally. On Day 4, Maa Inti Bangaaram collected Rs 1 crore overseas, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 14.60 crore.

The worldwide gross collection now stands at Rs 46.04 crore.

Maa Inti Bangaaram is directed by Nandini Reddy and produced by Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Raj Nidimoru and Himank Reddy Duvvuru under the Tralala Moving Pictures banner.

Raj Nidimoru has written the story, while Vasanth Maringanti and Prahas Boppudi contributed to the screenplay.

The film marks the third collaboration between Nandini Reddy and Samantha after Jabardasth in 2013 and Oh! Baby in 2019.

After a solid weekend, the film’s weekday performance will now decide how far it can go in its theatrical run.
