Bollywood actor and filmmaker Sohail Khan has shared such a pain of his life for the first time, which made everyone emotional. In the latest episode of Prime Video’s reality show ‘Alliance’, Sohail revealed that he was sexually abused in his childhood. Due to shame, fear and guilt, he did not tell anyone about this incident for many years. Eventually, after growing up, he talked about it to his father Salim Khan, who explained to him that it was not his fault for remaining silent.
Revealed during discussion on ragging and bullying
During a conversation on ragging and bullying with Ali Goni, Arsalan Goni and other contestants in an episode of ‘Alliance’, Sohail shared his painful memory. He told that he had been molested in his childhood, but at that time he was so scared that he could not tell anyone. But this thing kept giving him pain. Years later, when he told this to his father Salim Khan, he explained to him that the victim should never consider himself guilty. Today he imparts the same lessons to his sons Nirvana and Yohan.
Taught sons to speak openly
Sohail said that he has always told both his sons that if anyone ever harasses, bullies or makes them feel uncomfortable, they should come and talk to them immediately without hesitation. He said that remaining silent due to shame or fear further aggravates the problem. He believes that it is important to create such an environment for children where they can share everything with their parents without any fear.

Ram Kapoor also shared his pain
Before Sohail Khan, actor Ram Kapoor had also mentioned a very personal and painful experience of his childhood in the reality show ‘Lock Upp’. Ram Kapoor had told that when he was in the hostel, he was sexually abused. But the person who had done wrong to him had reduced the pain by saying sorry to him. Only his wife Gautami knew this.
