Saba Pataudi has come out in support of her sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan after a recent video of the actress triggered speculation on social media that she may be expecting her third child.
Addressing the speculation, Saba shared a picture of Kareena after what appeared to be a gym session and urged people not to draw conclusions about someone’s personal life based on photographs or videos.
“Some things are left private. No speculation needed,” Saba said in her social media post, while pointing out that Kareena had recently been seen looking “slick classy n slim” at an airport and later leaving a gym.
Saba also revealed, in a lighter vein, that she has been trying to persuade her sister Soha Ali Khan to have a second child.
“I’ve been convincing my sister to have a 2nd child … wish that was true! She’ll kill me for saying it!” she wrote.
Urging social media users to respect personal boundaries, Saba added, “Live n let live guys. Some things are left private. No speculation needed. With love n respect.”
Saba’s comments came after a video of Kareena went viral online. In the clip, the actress is seen walking towards her car after what appeared to be a gym session, while a member of her team holds an umbrella in front of her, partially blocking the view of photographers. The video prompted users to speculate about a possible baby bump.
Kareena and actor Saif Ali Khan married in October 2012. The couple have two sons, Taimur Ali Khan, born in 2016, and Jehangir Ali Khan, popularly known as Jeh, born in 2021.
Saba’s remarks sought to put an end to the speculation while emphasising the family’s wish to keep personal matters private.
