Campaigning is in full swing for the second phase of voting for the assembly elections in Chhattisgarh. On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a rally in the districts in Mahasamund. PM Modi said that after independence, Congress ruled the country for a long time but it never gave reservation to other backward classes. In Chhattisgarh, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel’s son, his relatives and officials close to him looted and ruined everything in the state for 5 years.
Taking a dig at the agreement for the post of Chief Minister between Chhattisgarh Deputy CM TS Singhdev and Bhupesh Baghel, PM Modi said that when Congress can betray its own senior leaders, then it is certain that it will also betray the public and the promises it makes will not be fulfilled. Will not complete it. Along with this, Prime Minister Modi also claimed that this time even the CM of the state is going to lose the elections.

He further said, these days some leaders are propagating my caste and saying that Modi is an OBC. In the elections held in the country before this, these same people were never tired of calling the entire OBC community a thief in the name of Modi. What he did for the Sahu community here for five years is not hidden from anyone.
PM said- Congress’s mentality has to be recognized
You have to recognize the mentality of Congress. This is the same Congress which ran the government from Panchayat to Parliament but did not give reservation to the OBC community. This is the same Congress which did not implement OBC reservation in medical colleges. This shows how much hatred Congress has towards the OBC community. This party never allowed tribal leadership to emerge in the country whereas BJP gave the country its first tribal President.
‘Some Congress leaders are angry with CM Baghel’
The PM said, I myself am an MP from Kashi which is the land of Saint Kabir and Saint Ravidas. What has Congress done with Satnami community in Chhattisgarh? This party cannot do anything except appeasement. During the rally, the PM has claimed that some Congress leaders are angry with CM Baghel and are determined to defeat him.
