Rubina Dilaik On Her Pregnancy Days
During a candid conversation with us, Rubina Dilaik opened up about the difficult phase of her pregnancy. She also revealed how she overcame that. The Chotti Bahu actress said, “I think the most difficult part was handling the emotional and physical exhaustion together, especially during the later months of pregnancy. Carrying twins naturally comes with extra physical strain, discomfort, and constant medical attention, so there were moments when I felt mentally drained as well. Hormonal changes, anxiety, sleeplessness, and overthinking also become part of the journey. But I believe pregnancy teaches every woman incredible resilience. It pushes you emotionally and physically, but at the same time it introduces you to a strength within yourself that you probably never knew existed before.”
When asked what that particular thing of her days is that she misses doing now, Rubina Dilaik said that she misses quiet moments. The actress said, “What I miss the most is the emotional anticipation and those quiet moments of bonding before my babies arrived. Pregnancy gave me time to pause and truly connect with my daughters in a very unique way. I remember talking to them, feeling every tiny movement, imagining their faces, and dreaming about the life ahead. Every little kick felt magical and reassuring. Today life has become much busier and more chaotic in the most beautiful way possible, but those calm emotional moments during pregnancy remain unforgettable and very close to my heart.”

Rubina On Resuming Work Soon After Delivering Babies
Rubina Dilaik is one of the exceptions in the industry, as she resumed work soon after delivering twin babies. When asked whether it was difficult for her to take such a decision, the Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki star said, “Returning to work after becoming a mother was definitely not easy because emotionally you are constantly torn between your responsibilities and your attachment towards your babies. There is always a sense of guilt when you leave your children behind, even if it’s only for a few hours. But at the same time, I’ve always loved my profession, and I strongly believe women should not feel pressured to choose between motherhood and ambition. I wanted my daughters to grow up seeing a mother who is emotionally present for her family while also being passionate about her individuality and career. It has been a learning process every single day.”
