Bihar government has started an important campaign regarding road safety. Taking this campaign forward, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday inaugurated 38 highway patrol vehicles to improve road safety and uninterrupted traffic system on Patna 1, Anne Marg. On this occasion, the Chief Minister flagged off 38 highway patrol vehicles. During this, Director General of Police Alok Raj welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him a green plant.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the highway patrol vehicles before their inauguration and took information from the officials regarding their working system. He said that it is everyone’s responsibility to provide safety on the roads. Awareness and accountability are necessary.
System related to dial-112
It is noteworthy that these National Highway Patrol vehicles have been linked to the Emergency Response Sport System dial-112. Its purpose is to immediately send these vehicles to the spot in case of emergency. Also, for effective action, provision has been made for centralized solution from the vehicle or control room through the equipment installed on it.
