Correct way to plant bulbs and prepare soil
Rain lilies are always planted from bulbs. To prepare well-drained soil, mix equal amounts of garden soil, sand and vermicompost or cowdung manure. Plant the bulbs 2 to 3 inches deep and keep about 3 to 4 inches apart between each bulb. This gives the plants enough space to spread and grow in a healthy manner.
