The family members organized the funeral pyre on the road itself.

There was a land dispute going on with my aunt.
Actually, the aunt of 35 year old Ajay Kevat, resident of Semaria, was having a land dispute with a person named Hanuman Singh. Ajay Kevat was helping his aunt in this dispute and was doing all the work. Ajay Kevat was watching everything coming and going in the police station and other offices. The killer was displeased with Ajay’s helping his aunt and due to this enmity, he killed Ajay. Hanuman Singh had threatened him several times regarding this land dispute.
Made rounds, did not take action
Family members allege that he stabbed and badly injured Ajay near his house around 3 pm on Monday afternoon, after which he died. After committing the crime the accused fled from the spot. The family members said that they had lodged a complaint with the police after Hanuman Singh threatened them and they had visited the police station five times but no action was taken.
