Rajasthan won
Punjab Kings, who came out to achieve the given target, did not have good start at all. In the first over, the team lost two wickets. Opener Priyansh Arya was out of the first ball of the Arya innings. Marcus Stonis scored one run and Prabhasimran Singh scored 17 runs. Nehal Vadhera, who came to bat at number five, tried to win the team by playing a half -century innings.
But in 15.1 overs, Vanindu Hasranga gave him a big blow to Punjab by dismissing him on a personal score of 62 runs. During this, he scored 88 runs for the fifth wicket with Glenn Maxwell (30). After Nehal Vadhera was dismissed, no batsman could play a good innings, due to which PBKS could score 155 runs after losing 9 wickets in 20 overs and lost by 50 runs (PBKS vs RR). Because of this, the team reprimanded the team on social media. However, this is Punjab’s first defeat of IPL 2025.
