Fatima Sana Fastest Fifty in Womens T20Is: Pakistan women’s cricket team captain Fatima Sana played a historic innings. Performing brilliantly in the third T20 match against the Zimbabwean team, she scored the fastest half-century in women’s T20 International cricket. Due to which Pakistan team batted first in this match and managed to score more than 200 runs, in which Fatima Sana had the biggest contribution.

Fatima Sana made a new world record in this match by completing her half-century in just 15 balls. This achievement is 3 balls faster than the previous record. Earlier, the record of scoring the fastest 50 was in the names of Sophie Devine, Phoebe Lichfield and Richa Ghosh. All these three batsmen had achieved this feat in 18-18 balls. This aggressive innings of Fatima Sana thrilled the entire stadium and she registered her name in golden letters in the history of women’s T20 cricket.

Fatima Sana faced a total of 19 balls in this innings and scored unbeaten 62 runs. His innings included 10 fours and 2 sixes. She scored these runs at a strike rate of 326.31, which is very fast in terms of women’s cricket. With this, 24 year old Fatima Sana touched the 50-run mark for the second time in her T20I career.

Due to this memorable inning of Fatima Sana, Pakistan team managed to score 223 runs at the loss of 4 wickets in 20 overs. Apart from Fatima, Saira Jabeen also scored a half-century, she scored 50 runs in 32 balls, which included 8 fours. Whereas, Ayesha Zafar contributed 45 runs in 28 balls. Iram Javed also scored 29 runs in 20 balls. Apart from these, Muniba Ali gave a good start to the team by scoring 22 runs in 17 balls.
