Real Kashmir, Sreenidi Deccan play out 1-1 draw

Real Kashmir Football Club (RKFC) and Sreenidi Deccan FC shared points after playing out a 1-1 draw in an Indian Football League (IFL) match at TRC Ground in Srinagar on Saturday.

The match, played under floodlights, witnessed a large turnout of spectators who gathered at the venue to support the home side amid cold weather.

RKFC made an aggressive start to the encounter and put Sreenidi Deccan under pressure from the opening minutes. The home side’s attacking approach paid off early as they found the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead.

The Snow Leopards maintained their advantage throughout the first half, heading into the break with a one-goal cushion. However, Sreenidi Deccan FC staged a comeback in the second half, managing to find the equaliser and bring the contest back on level terms.

Following the equaliser, RKFC pushed forward in search of a winner and created several opportunities. The home side dominated large parts of the game and looked determined to secure all three points, but failed to convert their chances into goals. Despite sustained efforts from both teams in the closing stages, neither side could find the decisive breakthrough. The match eventually ended in a 1-1 draw, with both teams settling for a point each. The result denied RKFC a home victory despite a promising performance in front of their supporters.
