When is Ravi Pradosh fast?

According to Drik Panchang, Ravi Pradosh is on Trayodashi of Shukla Paksha of Ashadha. This date is falling on Sunday 26th July. Trayodashi Tithi is starting on 26th July at 01:57 PM and ending on 27th July at 04:14 PM. Since the worship of Pradosh Vrat takes place at the time of sunset, this fast will be observed on 26th July only.

Auspicious time for Ravi Pradosh Vrat Puja

On the day of Pradosh fast, worship during Pradosh period has special significance. According to Drik Panchang, the auspicious time of Pradosh Puja starts from 07:16 pm to 09:21 pm. The duration of the puja is going to last for 02 hours 05 minutes. Generally the time 45 minutes before and 45 minutes after sunset is called Pradosh Kaal. It is believed that worshiping Lord Shiva at this time brings auspicious results.
