Rashmika Mandanna has opened up about the trolling she faces over her accent and language skills, saying she prefers not to focus on negative comments and instead gives more attention to her work.
The actress said her primary responsibility is to tell good stories and give her best performance in every film. She also stressed that she never intends to hurt or offend anyone through the way she speaks.
Rashmika admitted that she may not be perfect in any single language. She described herself as someone who knows several languages but is not an expert in any one of them. For her, being able to communicate and connect with people is what matters most.
She also spoke about her Kodava roots and said language has never been a barrier in her career.
According to Rashmika, the encouragement she received from audiences motivated her to expand beyond Kannada cinema and take up films in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi.
Having worked across Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi cinema, Rashmika said she embraces every language she works in and treats each one as her own.
