A shocking incident of rape of a disabled woman has taken place in Patna, the capital of Bihar. The incident took place in Naubatpur in Danapur district near Patna. This shocking incident came to light when the victim tearfully told her family about the incident.
The accused entered the house, raped the victim and fled from the spot. A case has been registered in Naubatpur police station and the police is searching for the accused.
According to the information received, a 25-year-old disabled woman living in the limits of Naubatpur police station was raped. The incident happened when the victim’s husband and mother-in-law had gone out of the house for work as usual. The victim is disabled and was alone at home. Taking advantage of this, the accused entered the house and forcibly raped her. Despite the victim’s protest, the accused did not listen to her.
After raping, the accused fled from the spot. When the woman’s husband and mother-in-law returned home at night, the victim cried and told them what happened to her. On Tuesday morning, the victim’s family lodged a complaint at Naubatpur police station. Seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police registered a case against the accused. The police sent the victim for medical examination. Police said that further legal action will be taken on the basis of medical report and other evidence.
On the other hand, a case of rape of a 14 year old girl has come to light in the limits of Majholia police station in West Champaran district of Bihar. On Monday evening, the minor girl was forcibly kidnapped and taken to a maize field. The accused tied her hands, feet and mouth and raped her. At that time two friends of the accused were at the spot. When the victim’s family searched for her, she was found in a corn field. They ran to the police station and lodged a complaint regarding this. The police have registered a case in this matter and arrested the main accused. While the search for the remaining two is ongoing.
