The makers are set to kick off the film’s promotional campaign with the grand Pratham Sankalp event at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on July 18, where an exclusive preview of the trailer will be shown before its worldwide release on July 24. The event will be attended by producer Namit Malhotra, director Nitesh Tiwari, and key cast members, including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and others. As per reports, Ramayana is mounted on a staggering budget of around Rs 4,000 crore, making it the most expensive film project in Indian cinema history. The ambitious two-part saga has also generated buzz for its reported cast salaries.
Ranbir Kapoor is said to be earning Rs 150 crore for portraying Lord Rama across both films, while Yash, who also serves as a co-producer, is reportedly taking home Rs 100–200 crore through a combination of remuneration and backend deals.
