Milap said that there is no strategy behind releasing Singham Again on Diwali. The story of the film has been written by Kshitij Patwardhan. He had long ago given this idea to Rohit that why not mix Rohit’s cop universe and Ramayana. Milap told that Rohit liked this idea very much, hence work on this story was started. Milap further said that this film is quite different from the other films of Singham and is also much better.
