When is Rakshabandhan 2026?
According to religious texts, the festival of Rakshabandhan is celebrated on the full moon day of Sawan. This time Sawan Purnima Tithi will start from 09:09 am on Thursday, 27th August and will continue till 09.48 am on the next day i.e. Friday, 28th August. Since the sunrise of Purnima Tithi will be on 28th August, the festival of Rakshabandhan will be celebrated on this day.
