In Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Tuesday i.e. today, criminals shot dead the national president of Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi. The miscreants also shot Sukhdev Singh’s gunner. However, both of them were immediately admitted to the hospital, where Sukhdev Singh was declared dead by the doctors. Meanwhile, the miscreants have absconded after committing the incident. Police from the local police station has reached the spot.
The incident took place in Shyam Nagar. According to the information, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was at his residence when unknown miscreants came and shot him. It is being told that Sukhdev Singh had earlier received a threat from Sampat Nehra, a henchman of Lawrence Vishnoi gang. After receiving the threat, Sukhdev had given a written complaint to the Jaipur Police. According to the information, miscreants shot Sukhdev Singh twice.
The miscreants came on a scooter
The miscreants had come riding on two scooters. Their number is said to be four. According to the police, Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was standing outside his house on Shyam Nagar Janpath at around 2.45 pm on Tuesday afternoon. Then the miscreants opened fire on them. Gogamedi was taken to Metro Mass Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. At the same time, a crowd of Karni Sena workers has gathered outside the Metro Mass Hospital.
Police are examining CCTV footage
An officer said that a police team has reached the hospital. Post mortem of the dead body will be done. A police team was also sent to the spot. The police have examined the footage of nearby CCTV cameras. The miscreants are being identified. All the criminals involved in the incident will be arrested as soon as possible.
After differences, a separate organization was formed
Sukhdev Singh was earlier associated with Rashtriya Karni Sena, but after differences of opinions, he formed his own separate organization. He named this organization Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. At present he was the president of this organization. When Sanjay Leela’s film Padmavat was being protested in Rajasthan, many of Sukhdev Singh’s statements went viral.
After the news of the murder of Sukhdev Singh, there is anger among the workers of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena. At the same time, Jaipur Police has come on alert mode and as a precautionary measure, security has been increased in Shyam Nagar. There is a gathering of workers outside the hospital. Regarding this, security outside the hospital has been tightened. Officials have asked the police of different police stations of Jaipur to remain alert.
