Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [भारत]July 11 (ANI): Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami met delegations from different parts of the state and representatives of various organizations at the Chief Sevak Sadan, the Chief Minister’s residence. During the meeting, the delegations congratulated the Chief Minister on becoming the longest serving Chief Minister of Uttarakhand and expressed their good wishes. Those who met the Chief Minister included representatives of Gurdwara Sabha, BJP Mahila Morcha, State Farmers Commission, Akhil Garhwal Sabha and Provincial Development Services Organization.
The representatives appreciated the efforts of the state government to promote good governance, development and public welfare under the leadership of Chief Minister Dhami.
Reiterated commitment towards development
Expressing his gratitude, Chief Minister Dhami said that this honor and good wishes reflect the trust and support of 1.25 crore people of Uttarakhand. He said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is committed to the holistic and balanced development of Uttarakhand with a focus on ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person of the society.
The Chief Minister said that the government is continuously working to set new standards of development by giving top priority to transparency, good governance, public service and welfare. He said that participation of every section of the society, social organizations and public representatives is important for the overall development of the state, and the government will continue to work with their support and suggestions to take Uttarakhand to new heights of progress.
On the occasion, the visiting delegations presented bouquets and mementos to the Chief Minister and expressed their good wishes for the successful implementation of development and public welfare initiatives in the State.
Inauguration of Public Promotion Fair
Meanwhile, CM Dhami along with Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju inaugurated the Lok Samvardhan Mela in Dehradun on Saturday. This fair brings together artisans from different parts of the country, showcasing the rich diversity of traditional crafts and cultural heritage.
Lok Samvardhan Mela is providing international recognition to the local craftsmanship of Uttarakhand, while also serving as an important platform for women and young artisans to promote and preserve their traditional skills. (ANI)
