The Punjab government has increased the dearness allowance (DA) of state government employees by 4 percent. This increased allowance will be applicable from November 1. Punjab government has announced that dearness allowance of government employees and pensioners has been increased by 4 percent.
In this way it has increased from 38 percent to 42 percent. After this decision of the Punjab Government, more than 6.5 lakh employees and pensioners of the state will benefit greatly.
