Gurpreet Singh, a resident of Tarn Taran who was injured in the accident, said that his younger brother Mandeep Singh was married to Karamjit Kaur 10 days ago. Karamjit is a resident of village Ferozepur in Mallanwala. Karamjit had done this marriage without the consent of her family, so her family members were not happy with this.

Due to the displeasure of the family, the boy’s brother Gurpreet Singh, his uncle Joga Singh, his uncle’s son Gurpreet Singh and Gurlal Singh went to talk to the girl’s father. But the girl’s family was not happy with this. The girl’s father Joga Singh and his nephew Ranjeet Singh, along with their relatives, attacked Gurpreet Singh and the relatives who had come with him with sharp weapons.

Due to this incident, Gurpreet Singh’s left arm was cut off and other relatives were also injured. They were immediately admitted to the Ferozepur Government Hospital. But due to his critical condition, Gurpreet was admitted to Faridkot Medical College and then to a private hospital in Amritsar. At the same time, after getting the information, the police team has also registered a case against 11 people including the girl’s father. At present, the police is busy investigating the matter.
