PS Plus May 2026 free games revealed: FC 26, Wuchang and Nine Sols arrive

New Delhi: PlayStation Plus members are getting three Monthly Games in May 2026, and this month’s list has a clear mix of football, hard action, and 2D combat. Sony Interactive Entertainment has confirmed that EA Sports FC 26, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, and Nine Sols will be available to all PlayStation Plus members from Tuesday, May 5.

The timing is useful for players who still need to claim April’s games too. Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream will remain available till Monday, May 4, so yes, this is that small reminder we all need before forgetting free library claims again.

PlayStation Plus May 2026 free games list

The May 2026 PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup includes:

  • EA Sports FC 26 for PS5 and PS4
  • Wuchang: Fallen Feathers for PS5
  • Nine Sols for PS5 and PS4

EA Sports FC 26 leads the lineup

EA Sports FC 26 is the biggest mainstream name in this month’s list. Sony describes the game with the line, “The club is yours in EA Sports FC 26.” The football title includes more than 20,000 players, over 750 clubs and national teams, more than 120 stadiums, and 35 leagues.

PlayStation Plus members will also get the EA Sports FC 26 PlayStation Plus Icons Pack as an add-on during the game’s stay in the Monthly Games lineup. For casual players, this is likely the easy pick of the month. Football games have that “one more match” pull. I have lost evenings to that exact trap.

Wuchang and Nine Sols bring tougher action

Wuchang: Fallen Feathers brings a darker action RPG setup. The game follows Wuchang, a female pirate warrior who wakes up during the final years of China’s Ming Dynasty with no memory of her past. The story centres on Feathering, a strange condition that turns people into monsters.

Nine Sols goes for a 2D action-platformer format with hand-drawn visuals. Sony calls it a “lore-rich, hand-drawn 2D action-platformer with Sekiro-inspired, deflection-based combat.” In simple words, expect timing, patience, and probably a few angry retries.

For May, PlayStation Plus has gone for a balanced lineup. One sports title, one Soulslike RPG, and one sharp 2D action game. Not a bad mix for players who like variety in their monthly library.
