A sensational sex racket has been busted in Jharkhand’s capital Ranchi. There is a lot of talk about the sex trade going on in a hotel here. The police has busted this sex racket by raiding hotels and parlors in several areas of Ranchi one after the other. This racket was running in full swing in hotels by calling girls from outside, sometimes from West Bengal and sometimes from Bangladesh.
A big syndicate related to sex racket business is active in the capital Ranchi which supplies girls to the customers as per their demand. Despite continuous action by the police, the business of prostitution is flourishing in the capital Ranchi. Actually, on the basis of secret information received by the capital’s SSP Chandan Kumar Sinha, the police of Chutia police station under the leadership of Ranchi’s City DSP KV Raman raided a hotel Royal Residence located on Station Road.
Three girls arrested
The police caught nine girls in objectionable condition while searching the rooms. Along with this, the register book of this hotel is also being searched. The police has also started investigating who all visited this hotel and when. On the fifth of this month, the police raided a hotel in Bariatu area. Three girls from Bangladesh were arrested in this raid.
Girls from West Bengal included
In the last six months, the police have arrested more than four dozen girls from West Bengal and other states working as sex workers in operations conducted at more than half a dozen locations. In today’s operation, most of the girls arrested by the police are from West Bengal who were being forced into prostitution by keeping them in a hotel in Ranchi.
