Pressure politics starts in Bihar! Jeetan Ram Manjhi expressed resentment over seat sharing and participation in alliance

Before the assembly elections in Bihar, political stirring is steadily intensifying. Along with this, political parties involved in the coalition have also started mutual talks. Union Minister Jeetan Ram Manjhi, meanwhile, made a big allegation on Sunday, saying that in the Lok Sabha elections last year, BJP -led NDA did not give proper respect to his party Hindustani Awam Morcha (HAM).

Jitan Ram Manjhi’s displeasure over seat sharing in the state and participation in the alliance has come out in the open. In the HAM party meeting, Manjhi expressed displeasure over the seat sharing and 20 -point committee. He said, “We want 20 MLAs, and for this, 35 to 40 seats are needed. The national president will take the final decision in this regard, but they should be pressurized.”

Both BJP-JDU assured: Manjhi

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of HAM’s National Executive meeting, Manjhi claimed that he had raised the matter before BJP national president JP Nadda and Janata Dal United Executive President Sanjay Jha and others. He said, “My party workers are feeling to be sidelined by BJP and JDU. Both Nadda and Jha have assured that our concerns will be removed in the assembly elections to be held later this year.”

Manjhi also claimed that his party was promised to give 2 seats in Lok Sabha and a Rajya Sabha seat, ‘But it is our loyal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi that we were satisfied with whatever the offer was actually offered.’ In the Lok Sabha elections last year, HAM got only one seat ‘Gaya’, on which Manjhi contested and won at the age of 80.

Seats received according to our position: Manjhi

In the past, Manjhi said on the activities of NDA alliance. “The leaders of our party were not given a place in the recently formed 20 -point committees. At the block level, BJP and JDU distributed seats among themselves. We have also talked to BJP President JP Nadda.”

Although talking about being in NDA, former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said in clear words, “We are with the NDA and will help. But we should get seats in the assembly according to our ‘Aukat’, we were managed in Parliament.”

Crowds being collected by selling my name: Manjhi

Manjhi made a big claim about Prashant Kishore’s rally in Purnia. He said, “Now in Bihar, a party has to sell my name to bring a crowd. People are brought by lying, this is a proof of our strength.” He also said that the women of Purnia were brought to the rally by lying, which is a proof of his party’s growing popularity.

Now these statements of Manjhi have started a new discussion in Bihar politics. On the one hand, they are describing themselves as popular among the people, on the other hand, they are also expressing displeasure over their neglect with the BJP-JDU alliance. Now it has to be seen what the NDA takes on it.
