He also interacted with members of the Indian community during his visit to the country. This information was shared on the official X account of Rashtrapati Bhavan.

President Murmu also interacted with members of the Indian community and Friends of India in Chisinau, Moldova. The Indian community welcomed the President with warmth and enthusiasm.
External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in a post on Twitter that President Murmu appreciated his role in strengthening the bonds of friendship between the two countries.

Addressed India-Moldova Business Forum
President Draupadi Murmu invited Moldovan businesses to “come to India and explore the opportunities”, the Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement. Addressing the India-Moldova Business Forum with Her Excellency Maia Sandu, President of Moldova, in Chisinau on July 20, Murmu said India wants a partnership “built on trust” and “shared prosperity”.
In his inaugural address, the President said that India and Moldova have enjoyed “warm and friendly” relations since the establishment of diplomatic relations in 1992.
The statement further said, “Our partnership is based on mutual respect, democratic values and a shared commitment to peace, development and international cooperation.” The President said that as “India moves towards its vision of a Developed India 2047, we seek a partnership built on trust and shared prosperity.” (ANI)
