Preparations for the launch of electric Honda Activa completed, battery swapping stations started to be installed

The official launch of Electric Honda Activa is going to happen on 27th November. It has been awaited for a long time and details of many of its features have also been revealed. Now a big update in this is that this scooter will have a swappable battery pack and for this the company has also started installing battery swapping stations.

Some such battery swapping stations have been spotted in Bengaluru. Along with this, the company has also launched a new teaser of Electric Activa, in which some more details have been revealed.

What’s in the new teaser of Honda Activa EV?

In the new teaser launched by Honda 2 Wheelers India, the details of the electric socket provided in the scooter have been revealed. Earlier, in the teasers shown by the company, information about the range of the scooter, features available in it and other details was shared. In these teasers it was revealed that the company has provided dual swappable batteries in the electric Honda Activa.

The design of the charging socket given by the company has a weather cover flap on it. It is of very simple design and user friendly. This socket can be used for charging at home or at public chargers.

Company will build battery swapping infrastructure

Honda has given swappable battery in its scooter. It has many benefits, like people living in flats, rented houses, students or people living in houses without parking facility can take the battery with them at home and charge it overnight.

But to maintain its customer friendly image, the company has also announced to create battery swapping station infrastructure. Now the company has started installing them in Bengaluru and will soon expand it to other cities of the country. This will also benefit customers who ride scooters more than 100 km in a day.
