Preparations are being made for assembly by-elections in UP, Pallavi Patel made a big announcement

The political chessboard has started getting laid out for the assembly by-elections to be held for 10 assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh. Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) has made a big announcement by intensifying the political preparations for these elections. Top leader and MLA of Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) Dr. Pallavi Patel held a meeting of the constituent parties of the PDM (Backward-Dalit-Muslim) alliance in Prayagraj and announced her party’s agenda for the by-elections.

PDM will contest by-elections on all seats

Many important decisions were taken in this meeting of PDM in Prayagraj. Pallavi Patel’s Apna Dal Kamerawadi, AIMIM and Pragatisheel Manav Samaj Party also attended this meeting. It was decided in the meeting that candidates will be fielded by PDM on all 10 seats of UP by-election.

What did Pallavi Patel say?

Pallavi Patel said, ‘During the last Lok Sabha elections, the PDM alliance was formed for the upcoming 2027 assembly elections. The PDM alliance, formed after the third phase of the Lok Sabha elections began, had fielded its candidates on 28 seats in a short time. Now with full preparation and vigour, candidates will be fielded on all 10 seats of the UP by-election.’

PDM’s focus is on 2027 assembly elections

The focus of PDM is already on the preparation for the upcoming Panchayat elections and the 2027 assembly elections. In this meeting, National President of Pragatisheel Manav Samaj Party Premchand Bind, State President of AIMIM Shaukat Ali, National Secretary of Apna Dal Kamerawadi Dilip Patel, State President Ram Sheela Patel, National Secretary Lalchand Bind, Ajay Patel, Gagan Prakash Yadav, Umesh Patel, State President Rajesh Patel, Purvanchal President Israr Ahmed and officials of all the parties were present.

Candidates were fielded on these 3 seats in Lok Sabha but…

Apna Dal Kamerawadi had announced to contest on three seats in the Lok Sabha elections but later withdrew the list of declared candidates. Apna Dal (Kamerawadi) had decided to contest on Mirzapur, Phulpur and Kaushambi seats of UP, but later the party withdrew its decision for some reason. It is being said that their relations with SP had deteriorated.
