When is Pradyumn Vinayak Chaturthi: In Hindu religion, Lord Ganesha is considered the remover of obstacles, that is, the god who takes away all the sorrows and obstacles in our life. The Chaturthi date of every month is dedicated to Lord Ganesha, but the Chaturthi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month has a very special significance. It is called Pradyumna Vinayak Chaturthi. According to the Panchang, Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Jyeshtha month will start on 17th June 2026 at 9.38 pm and will continue till 6.58 pm on 18th June 2026. Since Udaya Tithi is falling on 18th June, the fast of Pradyumna Vinayak Chaturthi will be observed on this day. Because from religious point of view, Udaya Tithi is given special importance.
Worship method of Pradyumna Vinayak Chaturthi
After waking up early in the morning and taking bath, clean the worship place of the house and install the idol or picture of Lord Ganesha. Offer red or yellow flowers to Lord Ganesha. Offer them Durva, Sindoor, Akshat and Modak. After this, chant Ganesh mantras and recite Ganesh Chalisa. During the puja, pray to Lord Ganesha for the happiness, peace and prosperity of the family. Observe the fast throughout the day and perform aarti again in the evening and distribute the prasad among everyone.

By doing some simple and auspicious measures on the day of Pradyumna Vinayak Chaturthi, it is believed that one will get special blessings of Lord Ganesha. On this day, offer 21 Durva to Lord Ganesha and offer Modak or Laddus, because both are considered very dear to Lord Ganesha. Chanting the mantra Om Ganpataye Namah at least 108 times during the puja is also considered auspicious. Apart from this, make a Swastika symbol on the main entrance of the house, which is considered a symbol of auspiciousness and positive energy.
