Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana is a boon for women, 68 percent gets loan

Many schemes are run by the central government in the interest of the country. One of those schemes is the Prime Minister’s Mudra Scheme. This scheme has just been completed 10 years recently. This scheme run by the government has not only benefited men. Rather, this scheme has also played a lot of role in empowering women and women are constantly taking advantage of it. 68 percent of those taking advantage of this scheme are women.

Under the Prime Minister’s Mudra loan, the people of the country are given a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh for their small non-corporate, non-agricultural small/micro businesses. In this scheme, women of the country have participated in a big way. Through this scheme, the government has given loans without any property to empower women financially.

Women get loans

In this loan scheme of the central government, women are given a loan to do their own work. In this scheme, men also get loans, but according to data, women of the country have benefited greatly from this scheme. They get a loan of up to Rs 10 lakh even if they do not have assets, so that they can start a micro enterprise like sewing units, beauty parlors, food stalls and retail shops.

68 percent women beneficiaries in the scheme

Union Minister Pankaj Chaudhary said about the scheme that 68 percent of women are in this scheme run by the government. He said that under the Mudra scheme, 52 crore people have been given a guaranteed loan without more than Rs 33 lakh crore to start business. In the last 10 years, our government has given loans without guaranteed more than Rs 33 lakh crore to 52 crore people. These loans range from Rs 50,000 to Rs 20 lakh. Under this scheme, 68 percent of women across the country have left their wages and started their own business.
