Prabhas may have faced a major disappointment at the box office with The RajaSaab, but the film has scripted a completely different story on OTT. According to the latest Ormax StreamView half-yearly report for January-June 2026, The RajaSaab has emerged as the most-watched South Indian film on streaming in India during the first six months of the year. The film topped the chart with a comfortable lead despite receiving poor reviews and underperforming during its theatrical run. The report once again highlights Prabhas’ unmatched reach on OTT, where his films continue to attract huge audiences irrespective of their theatrical performance.
Interestingly, Malayalam cinema dominated the overall list with four films finding a place in the top ten. Telugu cinema followed with titles like Ugly Story, Akhanda 2 and Arjun Son of Vyjayanthi, while Tamil films Blast and Youth also made the list. However, it was The RajaSaab that comfortably claimed the number one position.
Directed by Maruthi, The RajaSaab featured Prabhas in a horror-comedy role alongside Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar. The film carried huge expectations before release but failed to deliver at the box office. Despite that setback, its digital performance has proved that Prabhas continues to enjoy a massive following among OTT audiences.
