Politics intensifies on Delhi’s poisonous air, AAP says – half the country is in the grip of pollution and ministers are silent

The air of the country’s capital Delhi remains ‘poisonous’. Visibility reduced considerably on Monday due to toxic smog. The Environment Minister of Delhi Government called a meeting on the increasing pollution in the capital and the implementation of GRAP-4. In the meeting with the officials of the concerned departments, he discussed the issue of strictly implementing the rules of Grape-4. After this, Environment Minister Gopal Rai gave information in a press conference. He also accused the central government. He said that half the country is in the grip of pollution and the central government ministers are silent.

Gopal Rai said, the entire North India is in the grip of severe pollution today. The elderly are having trouble breathing. Children’s schools are having to be closed. People’s lives are being negatively impacted. AQI in Bahadur Garh is 477. Similar thing is being seen in other places. The entire North India is facing the brunt of pollution and the central government is sleeping. Don’t know where the Union Environment Minister is sitting silently?

Half the country is in the grip of pollution and ministers are silent

Gopal Rai said, when half the country is in the grip of pollution and it is time for everyone to work together, then the ministers of the central government are silent. Our government has reduced the incidence of stubble in Punjab. We have brought it down from 47 thousand to 8 thousand. But, cases are increasing under BJP governments. Incidents increase from 1500 to 2500.

Polluting BS-4 buses are being run

He said that BS-4 polluting buses are being run all around Delhi. If the BJP central government that came for the third time had taken the right steps, we would not have had to see this day. We had written a letter to the Union Minister in August to call a meeting between IIT Kanpur and Delhi Government so that artificial rain could be made if pollution increases.

How long can you leave people unattended?

Gopal Rai said that the meeting has not been called till date after 3 months. How serious is the Central Government, the answer has not yet come whether the meeting will be held or not. How long can you leave people suffering from pollution unattended? Neither will you do the work nor will you allow it to be done.
