Poisonous air wreaks havoc… Timings of government offices changed in Delhi, order will remain in force till 28th February

It has become difficult to breathe in the country’s capital Delhi. The poisonous air has stopped the pace of the capital. All schools have been closed. Classes of 10th and 12th will run online. Graded Response Action Plan-4 has been implemented to control air pollution. Meanwhile, the opening and closing timings of MCD and Delhi government offices have been changed. This has been approved by Lieutenant Governor Vinay Saxena.

The Lieutenant Governor has directed to implement separate time tables for all the offices of Delhi Government and Delhi Municipal Corporation. According to this, the offices under Delhi Municipal Corporation will open from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Offices under Delhi government will open from 10:00 am to 6:30 pm.

According to the order issued by Piyush Kumar Dosi, Deputy Secretary, General Administration Department, these office timings will remain effective in all the offices under Delhi Government and Delhi Municipal Corporation till 28 February 2025. Recently, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi had proposed to change the timings of government offices in view of increasing pollution.
