Police investigation has revealed that first the husband was fed kheer mixed with poison, then he was strangulated to death while he was unconscious. Initially the case seemed to be a normal death or death under suspicious circumstances, but a CCTV footage changed the whole story.
Dead body found in the house in the morning, police got suspicious
This incident took place in Nirojpur village of Baghpat Kotwali area. The deceased has been identified as 35-year-old Sachin. Police had received information through dial-112 that the body of a person was lying inside his house. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it for post-mortem. In the initial investigation, some circumstances appeared suspicious, after which the police started investigating the matter in depth.

During the investigation, the police found an important CCTV footage. In the footage, a young man was seen reaching Sachin’s house on a bike late at night and going inside. On the basis of this clue, the police interrogated the deceased’s wife Rachna. At first she kept trying to mislead the police, but when the police presented them with evidence, she broke down and confessed the truth about the entire murder.
Love affair became the reason for murder
During police interrogation, Rachna told that she was in a love affair with a young man named Sonu from the same village. According to her, husband Sachin was becoming the biggest obstacle in this relationship. For this reason, both of them together planned to remove Sachin from the way. According to the police, the conspiracy of murder was prepared in advance and the incident was carried out in a very well-planned manner.
Made unconscious by mixing poison in kheer
Police investigation revealed that on the day of the incident, Rachna prepared kheer at home and mixed poisonous substance in it. When Sachin returned home after working in the fields, he was given the same kheer to eat. After some time of eating kheer, his health started deteriorating and he became unconscious. After this Rachna called her lover Sonu home.
According to the police, when Sachin became completely unconscious, Rachna and her lover Sonu strangled him together. He died on the spot due to strangulation. After the murder, both of them tried to make the case look like a normal death so that no one would suspect, but CCTV footage and scientific investigation exposed the entire conspiracy.
The family had expressed doubts
The deceased’s brother Harendra told that Sachin had returned home after working in the fields all day and the family had no apprehension of any untoward incident. He said that when Sachin was found dead in the morning, the matter looked suspicious. After this the police was informed and investigation started.
Police arrested the wife
According to Baghpat Police, the woman has accepted her crime during interrogation. The accused wife Rachna has been arrested and sent to jail. Her lover Sonu, who was involved in the murder, is still absconding. The police are continuously raiding in search of him and claiming to arrest him soon.

Police officials say that all evidence related to the case is being collected. Post mortem report, forensic investigation and other technical evidence are also being included in the case.
