The company has launched this phone with features like powerful battery, large display, triple rear camera setup. This phone has two color options, pastel blue and matte black, the company has sent us the pastel blue color variant of Poco C65 for review.

Design, performance, display, battery and camera, how does this budget phone perform in all these segments? Today we will give you a detailed review of Poco C65, let us know whether this budget phone can really become your first choice or not.

Poco C65 Price in India

The price of 4 GB RAM / 128 GB storage variant of this budget phone is Rs 8499, the price of 6 GB RAM / 128 GB variant is Rs 9499 and the price of 8 GB RAM / 256 GB storage variant is Rs 10,999.

Design

We have received the pastel blue color variant of Poco C65 for review, you may like the design of this phone a lot. Talking about the front design of the phone, you will get an old-fashioned waterdrop display notch in the screen, the bezels on the edges of the phone are thin but the chin of the phone looks a little thick.

Volume button and power button are provided on the right side of the phone, one thing to be noted here is that the company has integrated a fingerprint sensor for security in the power button of the phone itself. During testing we found that the placement of the power button is perfect and the fingerprint sensor works properly during testing.

SIM tray is provided on the left side of the phone, one thing we liked is that you can insert two SIM cards and one microSD card simultaneously. There is a speaker grill at the bottom of the phone, during testing, the phone produces clear sound when playing music, along with a USB Type-C port and primary microphone for charging and data transfer.

The rear of the phone comes with plastic back, due to the matte finish, fingerprints do not fall on the rear panel. Perhaps this is the reason why the company has not provided a back cover in the retail box of the phone.

The camera module of the phone is slightly protruding, in such a situation we would recommend keeping the back cover on the phone. The grip of the phone is not good because it felt a little slippery after holding the phone in the hand. Overall, we liked the design of the phone a lot.

display

In this budget phone, you will get a 6.74 inch HD Plus display which supports 90 Hz refresh rate. During display testing, we found that the peak brightness of the phone is quite good, we did not face any problem in reading the content on the phone screen in sunlight at 50% brightness.

Poco C65 Mobile

Talking about viewing experience, we streamed web series and movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime Video during testing. If the company had offered full-HD Plus resolution at the same price, it would have been icing on the cake, but our viewing experience with the phone was fine.

performance

MediaTek Helio G85 processor has been used in Poco C65 for speed and multitasking. During testing, when we started using the phone, we found that the phone gets a little slow at times and this happened when we tried heavy multitasking between one app and another.

When we are talking about performance, then you would definitely like to know about our gaming experience with the phone, we played BGMI game and popular car racing game Asphalt 9 in this phone, but before playing both these games, you have to adjust the graphics settings a bit. Have to down.

Poco Mobile

During the 30-minute gaming session, we saw complaints of frame drops and lag on the phone several times. This budget phone comes with 180 Hz touch sampling rate, during testing we did not face any problem regarding the touch sensitivity of the phone.

The number of times the phone screen is refreshed in one second when the phone screen is touched is called touch sampling rate. One thing that you may like in this budget phone is that this device supports up to 4 GB virtual RAM. Overall the performance of the phone is fine.

battery life

The 5000 mAh battery in this budget phone of Poco company works to bring life to life, one good thing is that this phone comes with 18 watt fast charge support and not 10 watt. On one hand, the company pleased the customers by providing 18-watt fast charge support, while on the other hand, only 10-watt charger with the phone can make the customers unhappy.

During testing, we found that once the phone’s battery is fully charged, it keeps running without getting tired. During testing, we did a lot of things on the phone like running social media apps, calling, gaming, binge watching and navigation etc. The phone’s battery lasts a good day once charged, we found that at the end of the day there was 23 percent battery left in the phone’s battery tank.

On the other hand, the slow charging speed of the phone can also disappoint you. The 10 watt charger supplied with the phone takes approximately 2 hours 45 minutes to fully charge the phone’s battery. In such a situation, our advice would be to buy an original 18 watt fast charger so that the phone can charge faster.

camera

The company has given triple rear camera setup in this Poco phone, talking about the camera app of the phone, the user interface of the app is quite easy. Details are captured properly in the shots captured from the rear camera of the phone during the day.

Poco C65 Camera Samples At Night

If we look at the price, the camera quality of this phone, which is priced less than Rs 10,000, is fine during the day time. But on the other hand, we missed the details in the shots captured at night, and we also felt that the camera quality could have been a little better.

By using the night mode given in the camera app, the brightness level of the phone definitely increases but the details still remain lacking. Talking about the selfie camera, the front camera captures good pictures during the day but the shots captured at night may disappoint you a bit. Overall, I would like to give the phone’s camera 3 out of 5.

Software

You will get this phone of Poco company with the company’s custom skin MIUI 14 based on Android 13. One thing that customers will like here is that this affordable phone will continue to get Android upgrades for two years and security updates for three years.

What we don’t like about this phone is that you will see a lot of bloatware apps in this phone. But one good thing is that you can also remove these apps.
