New Delhi [भारत]July 21 (ANI): Union Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju on Tuesday said Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the meeting that the government “stands with the students” amid concerns over the NEET exam paper leak. He has called for strict action against those involved in irregularities. Addressing reporters after today’s NDA parliamentary party ‘Mangal Milan’ meeting, Rijiju said the Prime Minister made it clear that the government is with the students and the paper leak is a matter of national concern, which should not be politicized.
Rijiju said, “On NEET exam, the PM said that we stand with the students. Those involved in the paper leak will have to face strict action after consulting top lawyers. Paper leak is a matter of national concern and should not be politicized. Not only the Centre, but also the states should take strict action wherever paper leak occurs.”
Rijiju’s comments come after CJP’s protests over the alleged NEET-UG 2026 paper leak intensified on Monday, with a party delegation meeting Union Health Minister JP Nadda with their demands, even as a march towards Parliament turned violent.
