Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Thursday inaugurated the extension of Patna Metro services to Malahipakdi. With the commencement of this new route, the operational length of the city’s first metro corridor has almost doubled.
After the inauguration, Chief Minister Chaudhary also traveled in Patna Metro.

With the expansion of Metro in Patna, now metro services will run between ISBT and Malahipakdi, which will further increase the reach of Metro in the city. Let us tell you that the commercial operation on the first 3.2 km long stretch of Patna Metro started on October 6, 2025. This route was between ISBT and Bhoothnath.
CM Samrat witnessed the feat of AI-enabled robot
- Meanwhile, Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary also reached Miller High School located on Veerchand Patel Marg in Patna on Saturday. Here he interacted with the students. The visit was part of an initiative to develop the school as a model high school.
- The school has now been awarded the status of a model high school in the capital, and plans to undertake large-scale infrastructure and teaching reforms.
- During the visit, the students demonstrated an AI-enabled robot, developed by the students of CIMAGE College, Patna. In an interactive session, the robot answered several questions, which included questions related to governance, technology and self-development.
- When the robot was asked about the state’s leadership, it replied, “The current Chief Minister of Bihar is Samrat Chaudhary. He assumed the post on April 15, 2026.”
- BJP MLC Naval Kishore Yadav, who was present on the occasion, said that the Chief Minister has decided to adopt Miller High School for development.
