Peddi Movie Trailer Out: The trailer of Ramcharan Teja’s film ‘Peddi’ was released on Monday. Let us tell you that Ram Charan Teja has completely changed his look for director Buchi Babu Sana’s sports drama film Peddi. In the film, Ram Charan plays the character of a crossover athlete named ‘Peddi’. The special thing is that in this film his character will be seen participating in not one or two, but three different sports. For each game, he had to work differently on his body, look and screen presence, so that the character looked completely real.

During the trailer launch event of the film in Mumbai, Ram Charan was asked a question about his transformation. During this, he first thanked Salman Khan and Aamir Khan. Ram Charan said, “First of all, thanks to Salman sir and Aamir sir, who paved the way for such films for us through films like ‘Sultan’ and ‘Dangal’. This gave us a lot of confidence.” He further said that the success of these films gave him the confidence that stories like sports dramas are liked by the audience.
Shooting of the film was very challenging
Ram Charan told that shooting for Peddi was quite challenging not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. He said that as soon as he heard the story, he understood that playing this character would not be easy. Ram told, “Changing the look was an important part of the story. I remember Buchi Babu came to my house and he sat and narrated the entire script. For about 2 hours and 40 minutes, I just kept listening to the story. At that time I understood that this film would be very tiring physically, but all this was necessary for this story and character.”
‘Peddi’ is out in search of identity
Ram Charan also talked in detail about the story of the film. He told that this is not just a film based on sports, but the story of a person’s search for identity. He said, “This is the story of a man who is searching for his identity. We all need some identity to move forward in life and live every day. Peddi is also searching for his identity.” Ram further explained that his character in the film first goes through an identity crisis and then tries to prove himself. “This whole story follows that journey of what ultimately inspired her to become a crossover athlete. The story feels very natural, but at the same time it’s completely commercial,” he said.
Ram Charan will be seen in cricket, wrestling and running in the film
In the film, Ram Charan will be shown playing cricket, wrestling and running. For this he has also taken special training. Peddi is written and directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film is produced by Venkat Sathish Kilaru under the banner of Vriddhi Cinemas, while Ishaan Saxena is the co-producer. The film is presented by Maithri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings.
