Shashank Singh Catch Drop: One player and so many dropped catches. You will be surprised when you know the figures. Just like Punjab Kings coach Ricky Ponting. Punjab Kings undoubtedly won the match against Lucknow Super Giants. But one catch after another dropped by one of his players caught everyone’s attention. We are talking about Shashank Singh, who dropped 3 catches in the match against Lucknow, which raised the eyebrows of the coach and captain but was a relief when the victory was achieved in the end.
Shreyas Iyer covered the mouth of the player who dropped the catch with a cap.
After the match, a video of captain Shreyas Iyer is going viral, in which he is seen covering Shashank Singh’s face with his cap. This scene is of the players shaking hands. Shreyas Iyer was probably doing this with Shashank so that he would not lose sight of coach Ricky Ponting. He got angry at them. But, when Shashank and Ponting came face to face, both of them laughed and hugged each other.

When did Shashank Singh drop catches?
Now the question is that when did Shashank Singh drop catches during the match. He took the first catch of LSG batsman Nicholas Pooran off the ball of Yuzvendra Chahal in the 14th over.
The second catch was taken by Shashank of Aiden Markram on the boundary line in the 18th over when he tried to hit a big shot. Seeing this failure of Shashank, Ricky Ponting sitting in the dugout also stood up and was seen getting angry.
After just one over, Shashank Singh took the third catch of LSG’s Mukul Chaudhary. Coming running from deep square leg, he caught the ball but could not get a grip on it, due to which it got scattered. Shreyas Iyer remained smiling but Ricky Ponting sitting in the dugout looked more serious and angry.
If we win the match then everything is fine
However, they say that all is well that ends well. The same happened in this match also. The coach’s anger subsided when the team won the match. Captain Shreyas Iyer was also seen having fun with Shashank Singh so that he too could move forward from the mistakes made on the field.
