A tragic accident took place on Friday in Bihta, Patna. Here, a sand-laden truck hit an auto loaded with school children, resulting in the death of four school children. Three children were seriously injured. Seeing the accident, a huge crowd gathered at the spot. People informed Bihta police about the accident. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot. The police immediately admitted the injured children to the hospital. They took possession of the dead bodies and informed the families of the deceased children.
The accident happened near Vishnupura village of Bihta on Friday afternoon. Here, the auto was going to take the children to their homes after school holidays. A sand laden truck coming from the other side hit the auto directly, due to which the auto was blown to pieces. Four children died on the spot. Three children were seriously injured. The auto driver was also badly injured in the accident.

Seeing the accident, a huge crowd gathered at the spot. The villagers informed the Bihta police station about the accident. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot. With the help of an ambulance, the police admitted the injured children to the hospital. The bodies of the four deceased children were taken into custody. The police informed the families of the injured and deceased children about the accident. There was screaming among the family members who reached the spot.
Villagers set the truck on fire after the accident
After the accident, there was huge resentment among the villagers towards the police. The villagers accused the police of taking money from truck drivers for no entry. Not only this, the angry villagers also had a scuffle with the Bihta police. Also, after setting fire to a truck laden with sand, the villagers blocked the Bihta-Danapur road.
